2 Nephi 29

Verse 6

The foolish may say that they have a bible and have no need for other records but there is a need for another record. Sadly the bible has had some of the most plain and precious truths removed from it. WE still believe it to be the word of God, with the proper translation but we have an opportunity to have a record that is perfect and complete, the Book of Mormon. What a blessing.

Verse 8

The Lord works with the law of witness which says that the witness of 2 or 3 shall bring the truth of the gospel forward. The bible is a witness from the Jews in Jerusalem. The Book of Mormon witnesses from the American continent that Jesus is the Christ. Together we have that law of witnesses confirmed.

Verse 9

The Lord is the same Toda, Yesterday, and FOREVER. He doesn’t change. He treats his children the same in every generation and in ever land. I am grateful for that.
